在影片的開頭，船隻被海盜襲擊 (我想大概是指索馬里海盜)
船隻被炸毀了
雖然Noodle能夠逃出生天
但鏡頭中海牛最終都逃不過這一劫
不知道是否想講出這些襲擊(或戰爭)的禍害

在影片中段，海底中有不少的潛艇
潛艇的引擎殺死了不少水母
這很明顯講出了人類活動對其他生物的影響有多大

如果有看Russell's Plastic Beach Ident都知道，Russell是游水過去Plastic Beach的
當到達Plastic Beach時他已經變大了不少
你便可知道海水有多毒啊！
